Branford Steam Railroad (Tilcon) EMD SW1500 #5947
The Branford Steam Railroad is a Class III industrial railroad located in coastal Connecticut, it runs six miles between Tilcon's Totoket Mountain Quarry and a rail-to-barge transload facility on the Long Island Sound, the railroad hauls crushed stone from the quarry downgrade to an interchange with Providence & Worcester on the Northeast Corridor and to the aforementioned transload facility. The railroad has owned several EMD SW-series locomtives over the years, but never an SW1500. This is an entirely fictional locomotive painted to match the railroad's EMD SW1001.
